new Browning take down lever rifles
Anyone have one of these? Is this a good buy ,wish I had bought one back in 2007/8 type rifles?

The odd thing is that when you release the lever to takedown, you pull the barrel directly out instead of it being half threaded like normal takedowns. It instead has just a groove cut in it for the lock mechanism to latch into. but the barrel fits the reciever so tight that you have to be perfectly aligned just to get it started on reassembly!

I thought they were only drilled and tapped for the scout scope..The one I was looking at was T&P but didn't have the mount or scope...Browning does sell the mount seperatly..
