All I know is they sponsor this site. I'm sure somebody with experience will chime in directly.

Go to http://www.grizzlycartridge.com/ and you will see that Grizzly Cartridge is Mike Rintoul's loaded bullets, and Cast Performance is Mike Rintoul's bullets used as components (what I guess y'all like to call boolits).

Mike uses his own Cast Performance boolits in the manufacture of the loaded Grizzly line. It is all "Mike Rintoul Enterprises."

I ONLY shoot Grizzly Ammunition for hunting, and I have shot a bison and a water buffalo with that 460 gr Load. In both instances it worked great! Don't forget to mention you are a leverguns forum member and Mike will give you a discount too!

I have shot some of the Cast Performance 425 grain .475 caliber bullets in my .480 Ruger. At targets the accuracy is as good as anything I have used. Never having used them on live game yet, I can't say anything. Based on my accuracy results in my pistol and rifle, I would not be averse to using anything from Grizzly. Besides, Mike gave me some advice on which powder to use, and he was right on.

Hatchettjack:

Call me to discuss your ammunition needs. I may recommend something slightly different once you provide more information about your anticipated hunt. We do a lot of field testing and we have at least 10 documented bison and a cape buffalo taken with the 460gr 45-70 ammunition.
