Jay,

Prayer said. If the surgery she's having is similar to what my wife went through it will be a breeze.

Prayers sent.

My wife worked as a recovery room nurse for quite a few years. One little old lady she took care of had her cataracts done one at a time. When she came back in for her second eye my wife recognized her from the first time she was there. She asked her how she liked being able to see now. The lady said well it has it's good points and it's bad points. My wife said really... what are the bad points. The lady said well, to tell you the truth some time ago I bought some wall paper for my bathroom and had it installed. It had these really nice little green flowers on it. well after I had my first eye done I looked at that wall paper and those weren't flowers at all, they were frogs. My wife said Oh. the lady said it's worse than that... I hate frogs.

Sent. Lots of my customers come in for antibiotic and steroid eye drops for cataract surgery. Every single time so far, they see better than I do when they come back.

Sorry - caught this posting late; but I've prayed, anyway, since God controls the past and the future!

Same story here - my 94 year old mother (yes, 94) had that cataract laser surgery. She had worn eyeglasses since her forties like most folks. After the surgery, she never wore glasses again, and had better eyesight than me, until the day she passed on. I had never heard of such a thing and didn't know what to make of it; but now we hear these stories all the time!

Thank you all very kindly for your prayers. Once again, they have worked. I just came back from my Mom's, and she got through the surgery without a hitch. It was a breeze, according to her. I am still amazed... the idea of anything touching my eyeball, let alone cutting it, just floors me. We had a little concern as she had a cough the other day - not a good thing at a time like this, but it didn't cause a problem at all.

Thanks again everyone! :D
