Hey fellas, I've read most of Hodgdon's new manual and have to say I found it be be a more enjoyable read than usual. Some good articles on the history and science of smokeless powder, new propellants available, and stories about new cartridges like the 327 Fed Mag, 300 and 338 Ruger Compact Mag. There is even a new BP substitute coming out from IMR that looks promising as its claim to fame is accuracy, not velocity. I'm told the manual only comes out in January (not sure if this it true) so get yours when you can.

Re: Hodgdon's 2009 Annual Reloading Manual
Picked up two copies (one for my reloading bench and one for next to my easy chair) at Wal-Mart last Thursday. I always find them to be informative.
They are normally only available from news racks during the Dec/Jan time-frame but can be ordered from various vendors (i.e., MidwayUSA) throughout the year and of course from Hodgdon themselves.
Since you brough up powder, it'd be wise to buy a good supply before Obama's EPA crew gets in and bans the shipment of powder and primers via UPS etc..

Re: Hodgdon's 2009 Annual Reloading Manual
I picked up a copy at the grocery store about a week ago. No, it was not on the list of stuff my wife gave me. After reading some of the loads, I grabbed a canister of BL-C(2) to test out.
... I love poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.
