My older brother got my Grandads picture collection, Granddad loved photography and had slides made from all his photos that go into a carousel and then viewed with a slide projector. So most of the photos had only been seen by him or Grandma. Back to my brother, he was able to scan the pictures from the slides and put them on DVD for the family, he gave every one a copy for Christmas (He is a very thoughtful brother) any ways I was going through the pictures and saw this one when I was around 5 years old, then I remember a picture I had my Dad take with my cell phone last summer fishing with him and they matched up! It has always been my favorite spot to fish on the reservoir but I had no idea it has been my favorite for so many years

Here are a couple more, the one with me and the single action pop gun was on the DVD. The one with the 1911 BB gun was one I scanned that my mom had. See things remain the same! I have not found one with a lever gun yet

That reminded me of when I was a kid. It was right after world war two. I had uncles come back I didnt know. There was a mill pond across from the store my mom raised me in, a dam and a creek ran right behind the store. My dad took me fishing and he caught a big black bass. He said, the season on this one dont open untill tomorrow, but lets take it anyway. I snatched the fish up and was proudly carrying it up the bank to the home/store when a guy I didnt know hollered at me, HEY KID! The season dont open untill tomorrow and I am a game warden! I turned and pointed at my dad and said, He made me carry it! It was a uncle that I didnt know that had come to visit. My family wouldnt let me forget that one for years!
