What is the best way to get in touch with a driver who would not mind carrying some extra frieght to a predetermined location.
I think what I am looking for is someone who has a partial or no load.
Is this even a realistic option?

Best bet is probably get into the local phone book and ask the local trucking company.
Other route would be , go down to the nearest truckstop and post a notice, but that one could be a bit risky, in that you may never see your stuff again......
