Anyone have a credible source for information on "pressure spikes" with Trail Boss powder?

IIRC, KirkD had some information on this. I tried the search function here, but couldn't get it to work to find it.

I think I might have saved it, so will need to look. My understanding, powders burning faster than 2400 cause a quicker spike in pressure than original black powder, even if loaded so the overall pressure is the same (on a PSI basis). Considering the metallurgy of older firearms, even when downloaded, because of the more rapid build in the pressure, you run a greater risk of ringing the chamber when using faster powders. Trail Boss is a faster powder than 2400.
