a guy down the way heard me shoot. when he saw me he asked what are you shooting? it was my 32 special. don't know why he was so impressed with it, but here she is with the bobcat i shot.
sorry about the three pictures, i don't take good pictures like some of yall and i couldn't get a picture to suit me. so here they all are.
the cat looks smaller than it is cause it is frozen. i put it in a bag and froze it. it was HOT the day i shot it and just froze it so it wouldn't spoil i will wait till the weather is cooler to thaw it out and skin it.
the gun is a pre-64 32 special. the bore is slightly pitted from the previous owner. i am the third owner i believe. the owner first owner owned it for years and used it as a primary hunting rifle. the second owner bought it in a bulk sale when the first owner passed. i bought it cause i think the 32 is cool.
it shoots like a dream. very accurate with winchester factory loads. i have shot several critters with it, but only thought to take a picture with the cat.
And Jason, bobcats range the whole country ... you just need to go try a little predator hunting. Or do like I do and hunt deer and the bobcats will come out - after the squirrels and rabits and any dogs in the area

Well we're supposed to have them but have never seen a bobcat here or in PA, MI, etc. in 30+ years of hiking and hunting. Have seen a few coyotes but have never had a good shot at one. Though I've never sat and tried calling one in. Might have to try that. I know their numbers are growing around my cabin in PA. Wild dogs too. Have kocked off a couple of those.
I guess my original comment was I miss living out in the sticks.

Neat pics dude! We have those cats here in Pa. but they are hunted on only a very limited basis. In fact, I may be wrong and they are only limited trapped. Anyway, ya done good with that levergun. By looking at the open sights, I take it your under 40 Us old dudes need tang sights!--------------Sixgun
