OT- Question for our brothers in Great Britain

When we lived in Bucks, we saw a race of people all over GB that looked......ancient. Large boned, almost gothic. What are they called?

Give us more of an example. e.g a personality, a celebrity or even a creature the has a resemblance.
I am english, that left there over 20 years ago, Apart from the modern imports, the UK is made up from many races and tribes. You can, to a degree, tell where people are from just by looking at them. Its probably getting harder to do so as people are moving around more these days.

You know that the vikings are included in the mix right? Are these folks fair haired and blue eyed? And just look at many of the Scotts - they can be very large too - probably from past scandanavian blood as well...

Were their noses small or romanesk?

The Romans had a huge influence on all of Europe's peoples - the romanesk nose is one very visible trait that shows this.

My ancestors on my father's side came from England originally - through Germany. My mother's side also were English - coming shortly after the intial Jamestown bunch - in the late 1600's. So, I'm mostly English.
