All mine to give

Post by bogus bill »

___ was the title to a book and movie of a frontier couple that died about a 140 years ago in my boyhood village. The oldest boy gave his 6 brothers and sisters away on christmas day to households in my village of Eureka, Wisconsin to keep them from going to a orphange and being split up.

I dont know for sure as I never read the book or seen the movie, but seems are heard they did. I remember the actor cameron mitchell came with another actor to our village probley pushing the movie and I think some of the decendants were present. That was about 1957. They had a old historical marker at the boat landing on the fox river where the family lived.
