The rifle is pristine other than a few nasty dings on the stock.
The forearm is perfect. I really don’t think this rifle was ever hunted with.
Looks to me as if it spent most of its time in a gun cabinet since 1983.
My gunsmith said the dings in the stock are from stock collisions of other guns being
Moved in and out of the gun cabinet over the years.
I my eventually do an oil refinish on the stock and forearm, or try a urethane
Touch up on the stock first. After I get better pictures I will get you guys input.
I left the rifle and marble sights with the gunsmith for sight installation.
I will indeed get much better pictures when I pick it up after sights are installed.
