Car got broken into! GRRR
Why oh why do people insist on stealing? Sunday night I went to work and came out around 12:30 for break- SURPRISE! My door is busted open and my ignition/dash,etc is all over my floorboard. Here it is Christmas time, my hours have been reduced, shopping isn't over, the car won't be drivable for days and my full coverage insurance doesn't provide a rental. What a kick in the gut...

nralover,
I'm sorry to hear of this. But unfortunately it happens. At least you have full coverage insurance. What did they steel, sounds like they all but destroyed the interior of the car.
Personally, I think thieves should be publicly executed. Court House square, one large caliber bullet between the eyes with all the TV stations present. A three sided execution bunker right on the court house lawn would be the way to go.
JMHO you know

Re: Car got broken into! GRRR
A few weeks ago I heard on BBC Radio that the Chinese executed a man for swindling a hundred people out of their life savings. Yet, we have hundreds of animals who rape and butcher women and children, loafing for 25 years on death row.
If these scum don't die of old age, and we finally get around to "executing" them, we carefully insert a needle, taking great care to make sure it doesn't sting, and put them peacefully to sleep like Old Shep.
Our nation has become very sick.

Yo dude, it sucks that it has to be your turn. I had it last week when a couple of punks smashed out 4 windows on my Dad's house. (Its now my sisters and mine and we have it for sale)

Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

Ahh, but remember! Our system (thanks to Republicans even moreso than Democrats these days) has decided that it's not theft, or even robbery, which are the 'real' crimes; the cops and courts and jails are occupying themselves with the more important 'crimes' of possessing the wrong medications or recreational substances, books about subjects which are forbidden, gun parts which 'could be assembled' to make something which 'could be used' for crime, and now - emitting carbon dioxide

Makes me think of the comedian years ago who had the Texas law of "he needed killin"

+1 - though if it was up to me, it would be a bit slower and a heck of a lot more painful - just to make sure every potential low-life thief got the message!J Miller wrote:nralover,

In the movie "How The West Was Won", I always enjoy hearing Robert Preston telling Debbie Reynolds-----"When a Skunk needs killin', It's not enough to just call him a skunk". There simply is not enough punishment for crimes like this. If this butt of a person knew he might go to a crummy jail for at least 12 months and do some hard labor, for a first offense of breaking into a car, he might re-consider. Wouldn't you have loved to have been standing behind him with a 4 foot long green 2X4?
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

Re: Car got broken into! GRRR
Thanks guys:)
My work has had this happen on about six different occasions. For some reason, they refuse to provide security. In fact, when I told them to pay my deductible they laughed at me. Oh well, it could be worse. Nothing was stolen, in fact my .357 revolver and my child's Nintendo DS were untouched...
I just called the dealership, they had to replace the whole steering column. Man, folks can do alot of damage in a short amount of time.

They left a gun and a video game? Did they actually take anything? Could this be something just trying to vandalize your property?
