OT - .10 Caliber

Post by deerwhacker444 »

Not practical at all, but I thought they were cute and thought someone here might like to see them. Might give Nath and his fox killing air gun a run for the money.

Is this the new mouse gun of the future?

Saubier is an excellent resource. Visiting there cause me to invest in a most excellent rifle in an excellent caliber: a CZ 527 in .204 Ruger.
I'm not sure I see the practical side of going smaller than a .20, although some say the .17 is very easy on pelts.

Here's another great site, and info on the .20's: http://www.6mmbr.com/20Caliber.html

Folks with Handi Rifles in .17 HMR say they are wicked accurate. I'll find out when mine comes in and let you know.

Can you imagine reloading one of those? Try dropping the powder in, one flake at a time! I've got a little 4.5 mm cartridge here that's small enough, but probably under powered compared to that 10. I'll have to find the pics I took of it (or take some more) and post them. The story behind the one I have is that it was a practice round for use in ppk pistols when using a special adapter. But I've only the one example and that's all I "know" about it.
