OT - What engineers do when they retire

I WISH I had this kind of time on my hands!

(I wouldn't do this with it - but I could see reloading several thousand rounds in the time it took to set this up! )

I personally liked the wooden man on the zip-line. That should win an award from somebody..!

How many rolls of black electrical tape were killed in the making of that video?

I liked the chess board and then the cell phone call to another cell on vibrate to cause it to move and bump into something. That may be the first used of wireless transfer in a Rube Goldberg machine that I have ever seen.

So this engineer takes a break to walk down to the pond on the campus of his high tech company. There, at his feet, was a small frog.
"Oh kind sir," the frog said, "I'm actually a beautiful young woman who has been turned into a frog by a wicked witch. If you kiss me the spell shall be broken and I will do anything your heart desires to repay you."
Without a word the engineer picked up the frog, put her in his pocket, and turned back to the lab.
"Kind sir," the frog repeated, "perhaps you did not hear me. If you help me break the spell I will do ANYthing you wish to repay you."
The engineer said, "I hear you," and put her back in his pocket.
After he walked a ways the frog tried one last time.
"I don't get it," she said. "What part of 'beautiful young woman' and 'anything you want' didn't you understand?"
"Oh, I understand," the engineer replied. "Look, I'm an engineer. I wouldn't know the first thing to do with a woman, but a talking frog is pretty cool."
