OT – For Joe Miller…

Post by Ysabel Kid »

… ‘cause he’ll appreciate it! Many of you miscreants think cats are targets!!!

Joe –

Remember the kitten I picked up this summer? Here’s a picture of the little fellow from back then:

Image

Well, he’s growing up fast – and still not done! Here’s one of him this week – resting on my desk, which is his favorite spot when I’m working in the home office:

Image

Only problem is that he is a teenager right now – and full of pee and vinegar. Half the time I go to pet him he starts purring – and then attacks my hand! He loves to wrestle, and like all cats, thinks he is actually a tiger – or at least the size of one!

Image

Personally, I think he’s nuttier than a squirrel turd, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Knowing you have and like cats, I knew you’d appreciate this!

I love it. Crazier than a squirrel turd ...... . Don't think I've ever heard a cat described like that, but it sure fits.
I'm glad he allowed you to adopt him. You've have a friend for life.

Last September we rescued 4 little ones from under the shed where my wife works. Malnourished, no momma, and to young to be weened even. Well, we were going to keep them long enough to get them healthy and then adopt them out. HA! I've posted some pics but who knows where the thread is now.
Every one that said they'd take them sorta disappeared on us and so we now have four pre-teen kittens. The two boys think they are as big as the full grown males and have no fear, no common sense either.
There is a stray that comes around regularly that might be the daddy of these guys. Today Scruffy as we call him was mooching food and the two juvenile kittens decided to check him out. He took them as a threat and started posturing. Instead of running away these two knot heads humped up their backs, blew out their tails and challenged Scruffy. He could eat them for lunch, but they figured they could take him I guess.

Crazier than squirrel turds ...... yep that describes them alright.

Joe

I had a cat that looked just like that.. His name was Ivan The Terrible.

He was about 17lbs and loved to fight with anything that came along. Had him for 15 yrs.

(everybody's desk should have a couple boxes of shells on it!)

Well, depends I guess on what she looks like!

Yep, that's my new favorite saying. Each time I use it my wife busts up laughing. She even calls the cat "Squirrel Turd"!

(for those that don't get it, squirrels eat nuts, ergo, one could expect their turds to be very "nutty"... )

Jay, so help me this is the truth!!!!. This past summer in the month of June, I managed to lose my sense of good judgement for a moment, and brought home 3 kittens that had just passed the time of weaning. All 3 are striped, 2 females and one male. But the male. (we call him "Fat Man"), is within 6 hairs of your Tom Cat shown in the picture. I just called my wife in here to my home office, said to her "how did this guy get a picture of our cat?". She took a double look, and then realized I was kidding, but the look is absolute identical, they are twins!! Been a lot of fun, out here in the wilds of Kansas, they stay in a 40X60 building when we are not home, and get let out when I'm here in day time. Darned coyotes like 'em for snacks if given chance. Cats seem to know inside is best at night and come back in when called.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.
