I was wondering if anyone knows what the value of this gun is.
I have a Winchester Model 94 AE Legacy in 30-30 and would like to find it's approximate value. It has the 24" barrel and full length magazine. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock. I would say that overall condition is 95%. You can e-mail me at t_m_banker@yahoo.com or post back here.
Thanks,
Mike

It may be best if you checked the various action sites, gunbroker, auction arms, etc. Search for your model. Do not look at asking prices only bids. I would think the longer barrel would make it a more rare and thusly more valuable. Good Luck, 1886.

Hello, Mike! I see this is your first post. Welcome to the Forum! I hope you'll pull up a log to our little camp fire here and continue to post after your question is answered.
I think the best way to determine FMV for your 94 AE Legacy 30-30 is to check the closed auctions at GunBroker.com The open auctions don't tell you much other than what people are asking. You want to know what the actual selling prices have been for the last 3 months. Also note in the closed auction listings what they didn't sell for. Obviously, those prices were too high. My impression is that there aren't as many buyers today as there were six months ago and prices (for some) rifles are a little soft. Keep that in mind depending on how fast you want/need to sell your 94 Legacy. Also, if you're not familiar with GB, the search is extremely specific. For example, "94AE" won't find you "94 AE" with a space between 94 and AE. I recommend keeping your search to the bare minimum, such as "Winchester Legacy" or "Winchester Legacy -9422" to eliminate the 9422 Legacy. If you include "30-30" you will miss the listings that are written "30/30." Keep your search very simple and inclusive.
Someone here also might be able to post a first hand price opinion for you, too.
Good luck...and Welcome!
