Something for Christmas - An Armed RC Helicopter

Post by don Tomás »

"...And Now for Something Completely Different..." (as Monte Python might have said)

How about an RC Helicopter equipped with a remote aimed/fired .45ACP 1911 attached? All I have to say is "WHY???" I guess because he could... :D

That's pretty cool, but everybody knows the real stopping power is in a heli with a 12 ga.!

kind of heavy.

And you'd need a video camera inside to aim it. And video stuff on your end to see it. Starting to get complicated.

Interesting how little the recoil moves the 'copter, and that the light weight of the copter doesn't make the gun jam from 'limp wristing' - I wonder if he lightened the spring and/or loads?

If I'd have made one of those I'd have put one of those 'Gatling' things on it that uses two Ruger 10/22 actions and a cam/wheel device.

Yep, but when you hooked the motor to the cam shaft it's now a machinegun.
