shall possess the highest seats in Government,
our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots
to prevent its ruin

A friends uncle had black and white pictures of Bob Hope when he did a USO show in north africa in WW II . They were some pretty cool pictures standing outside in the desert with the troops and equipment.

I don't give a darn if he was English born, Bob Hope was an American Hero, even if he never wore a real uniform.

I'd dare say he did more to boost the morale of the American fighting men than anyone else ever has or ever will.

I've been there, I don't remember much after going to "George the Crooks", but I am told I had a very good time.

Just south of Jacksonville on I-95 there is a big golf shop or hall of fame or something at PGA Blvd. It doesn't really register with me much since I consider golf such a non-event. I've been seeing signs on the interstate for a salute to Bob Hope. I thought THAT might be worth seeing.

Always think its funny there is nothing more American then Bob Hope and he was actually English, and there never was a better cowboy actor then Gary Cooper and yet actually he was English to, well born to two English parents in America but educated in England.
