"new" glass on my 356 Win Marlin 336

Post by O.S.O.K. »

Thanks to jdad, I'm the proud new owner of a Leupold 1.5x5 VXIII. So, I had to decide what to do with it. Very nice scope - thanks again jdad!

Well, I figured that of all of my levers this one was the most proper for this scope, so I got a Leupold base and lowmount rings and put it on:

Given the fact that this rifle can push a 180 grain bullet along at 2600 fps, I figured it should get the scope. The only other "high velocity" lever that I have isn't d/t'd for a scope mount (Win 94 30-30 AI).

It's bore sighted and ready to go to the range :)

Thanks :)

And really, I hate to admit it, but this one rifle would do for most all of my hunting needs - considering that I handload for it and the scope has a wide range of adjustment.
