OT---Hose Nozzle Of The Year
Yea, I have too much time on my hands. (back to work tomorrow. )
I wanted a hose nozzle that had more pressure and distance. So........I cut the head off of a 7mm Mag. case, reamed it out a bit and did a first class soldering job of installing it on an old copper nozzle that was .250 in diameter. I drilled out the flash hole to .150. Man! That baby really throws out the water now! ---------Sixgun

What are you watering at this time of year? The neighbor's driveway?
Re: OT---Hose Nozzle Of The Year
Are you calling it the "7mm Hose Nozzle Magnum"?

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. That is awesome. Dont know what else to say. 2 thumbs up
30/30 Winchester: Not accurate enough fer varmints, barely adequate for small deer; BUT In a 10" to 14" barrelled pistol; is good for moose/elk to 200 yards; ground squirrels to 300 metres

Clearly, you have built a graphic demonstration of how smaller caliber/higher velocity yields flatter trajectory! However, if you are going to wildcat this round how do you measure the water capacity of the case?

Yup, you have too much time on your hands. Ever thought of taking up needlepoint?

I'm more of a low pressure high volume kind of guy . You young fellers can have that new fangled high pressure stuff, everyone knows it volume that gets the ground wet, not pressure. There's been many of lawns watered with the standard old water hose.

And to add insult to injury, the thing is Metric. I'm not condoning the manufacture of those new fangled Metric water nozzles. Why can't we have this done in .284 ... why 7mm. It's a conspiracy straight from the Remington plant. Next thing you know, people will be putting scopes on their Metric water nozzles.RKrodle wrote:I'm more of a low pressure high volume kind of guy .
