For those of you with a Winchester 1890
I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

That WAS impressive. Dang, and I've been passing up the rifles 'cause they were too much for me in the condition I wanted one... Then, he also has this...

I like buying/selling used rifles and one of the things that I look at when buying a used rifle is the sights. I've bought used rifles at times for much less than the sights sold separately are worth.
Re: For those of you with a Winchester 1890
I bought a Winchester Model 1903, for $99, and it had some fairly rare sights on it. I ended up removing the sights, selling them on ebay for almost $500, put some replacement sights I had back on the rifle, and resold the rifle for $200 after cleaning it up a little.Modoc ED wrote:I like buying/selling used rifles and one of the things that I look at when buying a used rifle is the sights.
