Talk me into or outta this.

This is here local (next town over). I don't need it, but sounds like a good deal. I have never shot the 444, and while I just looked up the ballistics on the round, what is it really like in real life. Worth picking up an extra cal or should I just stick with my 336 30-30s and my BLR .308? Looked to be a good price based on what I have seen online, but should I or shouldn't I. Does it really give me anything extra?

BTW I have the money set aside to work on a couple of project guns which this would take, but I can put them off a little while, I also found a .44mag marlin at one of the local pawn shops (offered it to me OTD for $390). But I don't know.

Seems like a good price. The .44s make a more satisfying hole than the .30s do.

Buy it. Just like the .44 mag, you can load it from soft to hard and it will do impressive things.

Buy it :!:
The 444 is a fun gun to shoot, as Mokwaw says you can load it from soft to hard as well.
Price looks good too :D

Seems like a fair price, if condition is good. If you can spare the cash I'd say go for it. You can always get your money back out of it later if you choose. Make him an offer and see what happens.

Well, did you get it? It's marked sold.

Nope a buddy of mine just beat me to it! The .44mag is still in play though. Also I had another buddy call me this afternoon and said that his uncle has a .357 that he wants to sell. Said he would buy it and trade it to me for an old savage 30-06 bolt gun I have. I am going to go look at it Sat, and may trade that way. Sounds to good to be true, but if its as advertised I am going to snatch it up.
