That mall is not far from where we used to live on Long Island. Knowing the neighborhood and the location very well, and without saying more, O.S.O.K. hit it on the head. BTW - there are only 3 Wal Marts on Long Island that I can think of, about 50 miles apart. That one is closest to NYC.

The only thing I've EVER bought on the day after Thanksgiving was either bags of crushed ice (for a deer carcass) or maybe a gun or ammo.

Took my wife's car into the shop to get a state required annual safety check and due to everyone being off shopping the usually busy repair shop was empty and only had to wait 15 minutes for this service that most times requires a days wait due to backlog. Also I went to Macy's and bought a new frying pan today at 30% off, wasn't crowded when I went in but had lines of cars looking for parking 30 minutes later when I came back out.

The small town close to me only has a wal mart to shop at. I avoid the place as much as possible.
