My Kimber Ultra has some kind of dirty yellow on just the frame part that is away from my body when worn IWB .
I have tried every thing I can think of, on this Alloy frame , to clean it but no luck. I haven't tried acid but I've thought about it. the body side of the pistol doesn't seem to have that problem.
Any suggestions you folks might have would help me maybe to find something I haven't tried.
Thanks in advance....................Mutt
Thank ya'll for the responces . The strange part is it rides in a IWB holster and only the right side towards my belt not my body is colored . And the holster dosen't allow the gun to touch any body portion .And the off side is covered my holster and jeans plus belts. I think next I just might call Kimber after Turkey Day.
Mutt... what type of belt, and toes the belt ever come into contact with the metal?
You might be getting tanning salts reacting with the alloy...
A wild guess, but it could be true...
