Typical MSLSD one sided left leaning blame it on the gun. They talk about repeat offenders doing these crimes but never talk about keeping them locked up.

I watched it . Some of the hyperbole was to be expected. What really agitates me is the use of certain images that cloud out what the narrative was about. Like his getting to shoot a full auto Thompson... or "really seeing how powerful" that handgun is while he limp-wristed it. While the narrative was actually not quite on the point of the images used.

Did ya'all notice all the folks they talked about were criminals. That dope house in NOLA... 20 plus folks...all with a record and all still running the street. They did not impress me as a gun story.. they are a drug story that if told on it's own shows the general decline of polite society in the USA.

That big Chicago ATF sweep... the invasion of Europe part 2 nets $40 K ...a couple of pounds of dope and 2 (count em 2!) guns... not the story I would use to make the case for the big gun problem in the USA ...would you?

They sorta glossed over the straw sale issue. And didnt talk near enough about how theivery gets most legal guns on the street. Did you notice they did not mention that NYC could not win that biggest case were they entrapped a few dealers?

I might let em re-write A2... but the one about a "free press" gets some changes to. Like a part about "reporting in a fair and unbiased manner" or "tell the truth" should be tacked in there.

Yea, the story left me thinking they were blaming only the guns, when they even said that the nine scumbags arrested in Chicago had 56, yes 56 prior arrests for drug and firearm violations.

I could only think, well duh, if those offenders had still been in prison, or better yet removed from life on this earth, there would be no continued violence from these thugs.

My favorite was when they were in the ATF gun room. He was talking about how powerful the Browning M2 machigun was while holding a Barrett M82

Thats the hyperbole I was talking about... they show rack after rack of full auto high dollar stuff... but that drawer of sawed off single shot shotguns is what you find in evidence rooms all across America.

He brought out that Barret... I knew that was coming... $3500 gun, $5 a pop to feed it.. and it takes a two man crew to use it effectivly... lots of carjack potential with that bad boy eh?
