I voted. Right now it's 60/40 for it. If it stays positive like this they'll probably yank it soon, not what they would want to see.

when I first voted it was behind 49% yes to 51% no

Placing it on a few gun forums has helped.

I just wonder how exactly MSNBC targets their voters

OI,
I agree with you completely, but the powers that be no longer respect or obey the Constitution. So ... what do we do but play by their rules.

Their "rules" are moot.

There is a necessary relation between the concepts of law and morality.
Blackstone wrote:"This law of nature, being co-eval with mankind and dictated by God himself, is of course superior in obligation to any other. It is binding over all the globe, in all countries, and at all times: no human laws are of any validity, if contrary to this; and such of them as are valid derive all their force, and all their authority, mediately or immediately, from this original" (1979, p. 41).
In this passage, Blackstone articulates the two claims that constitute the theoretical core of classical naturalism: 1) there can be no legally valid standards that conflict with the natural law; and 2) all valid laws derive what force and authority they have from the natural law. On this view, to paraphrase Augustine, an unjust law is no law at all.

Has anyone heard if they broadcast the results of this poll.

I shut down my horse website about 2 weeks ago. I had a tool available that told me where all my hits were coming from. Including ones from this forum when I had the web site in my signature line.

If they could see that so many hits were coming from gun forums, would they be honest enough to go ahead and run their story??????????

I've never seen a poll published that didn't fall in line with the pollsters point of view. Why does it matter where the votes come from. Obviously, folks from gun sites would voter for CCW. But that's the whole idea. Let folks give their opinion. I imagin that they get quite a few hits for the anti sites as well. I figure we just out number them, but don't usualy make as much noise. Gun owners tend to be a bit more respectful of others, don't go around name calling and such.

That's why when going to one of those polls from a gun website, you should always right click on the link and have it opened in a new window or tab. Covers your tracks that way.
