I know, I know! Not a lever action, but I do own many leverguns, including a Model 39, so it's cool ...
I also posted this at http://www.marlinowners.com/ , but no response yet.
My late model (1985) version of the Model 60 has a screw on ramp w/fixed front sight.
Since I want to mount a Williams peep sight on the receiver rail, I need a much higher front sight blade.
Anybody know of one that is a replacement (dovetailed or fixed ramp sight) ?
Can't see those factory sights too good anymore!
I just can't get into scoped rifles 'cept for long range... but peeps are great!

otteray,
I know it's not a direct answer, but the phone number to Williams is:
1-800-530-9028.
I've been on the phone with them a couple times this last week and they've been more than helpful trying to and answering my questions.
Have your Marlin ready and a caliper if you have one.
Also the URL to the web site is: http://www.williamsgunsight.com/ .
They have much information there.
Joe
