You know good and well that Elmer would have used that 4-ounce ball on squirrel to keep from having to pick buckshot out of the meat. I think he broke a tooth on a piece of shot once.
I think he limited his use of buckshot to quail and pheasant on the wing. But only when they wouldn't let him use his .44 RemMag six-gun.
