Magazines

Post by Modoc ED »

I don't mean the reading kind!!!

If you have firearms that have detachable magazines, it would be a good idea to lay in extras of each kind you need. Nothing worse than not having a magazine for your favorite rifle -- turns it into a single shot and if your firearm has a magazine disconnect, it turns it into a useless piece of iron unless you are handy enough to bypass the magazine disconnect.

Agreed!

I have a Sig SHR 970 in 270 Win that is no longer made and magazines are no longer available except through auctions. If I lose my only mag I'm sunk.

A guy called the shop today looking for a mag for a H&R 700 .22 Mag. Hard to find. Of course there was one setting there for transfer with 3 mags.

They are asking $50 for this one... Image

Yes, it is a good thing to have extra magazines.

Yep, I'm keeping my ear to the ground for pre-81 BLR 243/308/358 mags at less than $70.
Kind regards,
Tycer
