recived my redhawk cylinder back. 2 pic's added

Post by H_Talon »

Sent out my redhawk cylinder out for full moon clips.. the 45lc redhawk
can use 45acp with the ACP clips.. double duty 45acp and 45cl ...
How cool!!!!!!

have to admit I haven't shot it yet :-( but they work great !!!!!

http://www.pinnacle-guns.com/ did the machining and
http://www.tkcustom.com/cart/shopdispla ... &cat=Ruger sells the clips .

Not trying to plug them just saying who did the work :-)

here how they look :-)

the redhawk is my Baby .. cut to 3" with rounded the grip and a few blackwidows
engraved in it :-) Gary Reeder @ reedercustomguns.com made it :-) I use Grizzly
300grn WFNGC in it .. it's my hunting back up.

Nice! Do you need a special tool to load the moon clips with 45 ACP?

I don't understand how this works - are the 45 Colt clips thinner and the 45 ACP thicker? Cool deal though. Nice revolver too!

That's a great packer. I like the Model 14 too. I've got two, but without the teeth.
