Joe - Promised you last year that I would get you a DVD of the Doolittle Fly-In/Reunion held in Fresno May 12, 2001. Finally found a way of getting the analog Hi8 tape into the computer (problem because I only work with DV now). Anyway, PM me a mailing address and I'll get it out to you. Here's some captured stills that look like cr@p but will give you an idea. The actual video (unedited, warts and all) is much better. I remember 14 ships making it to this reunion, which they figured to be the last. This was the largest gathering of B-25's (air worthy) since WWII, other than for the filming of the movie "Catch 22" (1970)...

Yes, you could feel those Wright "Cyclone" 14 cylinder air cooled radials with their coffee can sized cylinders thumping way down in your guts. Here's a couple of stills we took that day...

About 15 years ago a B-17 came to a local airshow. just happend to be near by when she came in. I pulled off the road and watched her come in. I'll never forget that.
