Raffle Rifle (M-1895 Marlin) arrived
Just wanted to mention that the rifle which was raffled off for the african missionary work arrived at my place from Mic McPherson's tender workings on October 24th. Man did he do a bang up job. I want to thank everyone who helped this project. Jim Taylor, John Kilibrew, AmBraCol and I am sure I am leaving other out and I apologize. Now then Mic would like me to do up some pictures and post them of it being shot with his favorite load and some views of the rifle. It will be a bit as I don't have a camera and am lost on posting pictures. But I will try. Mic put a Kick-Eze recoil pad, mercury recoil reducer, Receiver sights, extra apuratures contained behind the lever on the butt stock, changed the fit of the stock which fits me to a "T". Had all the internals Robar plated and installed the larger loop lever. He did the whole nine yards. I recommend him for anyone wanting some first class workmanship on their leverguns. Check his site listed on the front page of the forum and his articles in the articles sections as well. Once again thanks to everyone who made this all come together. I was not disapointed. Everyone have a great weekend and great week. All the Best.....
