POLITICS - Early voting - DONE !

Post by crs »

My wife and I just cast our votes for Palin and "what's his name". :) :) :)
This was the second time that I used the touch screen voting machines and they worked fine.
Now my vote is cast regardless of the weather or schedule issues that may come up on election day.

Remember to get out and vote!

I'm still waiting until the last minute to see how the State is swinging.

McWhatshisname/Palin if things are too close or Paul if it's a blowout either way.

I won't participate in Early Voting. Absentee, yes. The ACORN sponsored "Early Voting" scam? No.

OI,

How are you really going to know till Wed. morning?

FWIW as I travel around, I seem to be seeing more McCain bumper stickers and yard signs than I do the ones for the other guy. I'm sure that can change depending on where you are. Even around Ft.Lauderdale I'd have to say there is a pretty big bunch of McCain stickers.

Easy. The reporting on how well Obama did the non-urban precincts will get more desperate.

Also I have an hour's advantage over much of the State. Most of my time zone will go BO, but the Eastern TZ starts reporting early.

It's generally pretty easy to get the sense of the State.

I'll be headed home by 2morrow and should have my voting done by Fri. OI, don't associatte ALL early voting w/Alcorn, maybe it is up there in IL/IN, but I don't believe they had anyrrging to do w/our TX tradition to "vote early & vote often"!

In the same election? Isn't that what ACORN wants you to do? Oops - no; they only want people to vote multiple times if they are voting for Obama!

I'm going to go out next week - same philosophy; if anything comes up at the last minute I need not worry.

Like Hobie, this is an investment in the future. Looking forward to a Palin-Jindal ticket! :D

I voted today. I got the flyer that said Barack Osama was pro 2nd amendment, so I voted for him. I like his speeches, he's a very good orator.

Straight Republican ticket. Even figgered out who the local libertarians and republican were in the non-partisan races.

It's just the opposite around here. I'm in the 4th largest city in the state, and it's full of colleges, a very liberal area. I bet the Obama signs/stickers outnumber the good guys by 10-1.

Statewide, I think it's going to be very close.

Nope - and fortunately, I don' think "the chosen one" is fooling many other gunowners. I just hope they all get out and vote their guns - we'll need every last one!

Seems to me the NRA has really Sat back on this election.

Is the NRA saving there $$$ knowing full well the D’s
Are going to clean up this time around???

I will never forget C. Heston shutting down Mr. Gore
with these words “From my cold dead hands.”
Heck he couldn’t even win his own state after that.

If the Dems don't win in your precinct, they'll still cry "hanging chads".

I voted also. Six or eight giggly college kids were there too, so I guess Obama won that hour's worth of votes  - I just hope the freedom lovers and working people with enough brains to grasp the concept get out and vote, vs. stay home and 'give up' or 'dig in' which I'm hearing too much of.
