Big thanks to Kirk D.
Starting to get the Uberti 76 .45-60 rolling. Thanks to Kirk D. for the proper cases. The shortened Win. .45-70 cases were not cutting it. Rims too thick. Thanks to levers as well. He has some more cases coming and a Lee .45-70 FCD shortened to the proper length. Have done some preliminary work with a local casters 350gr FNGC sized .459 and 5744 and 2015. 2015 showed the most promise but the bullets are probably too hard for the obtained pressure. Frank at Mt.Baldy is sending me some 300gr PB samples to try. These will be softer. Still 40yrd groups from the bench are showing promise. Recoil is not an issue but bench technique has been very important. Barrel time in that long barrel and low muzzle velocity can be an issue. Free recoil is not an option with this rifle. Fairly impressive rifle so far. Will advise with pics. 1886.

Got the MO. Your package will go out tomorrow. I'll send Priority so that (hopefully) you will have everything by the weekend. Somewhere I lost one of the casings so there are 49 not 50. If I find the darn thing, I'll mail it on. My lever was 25+ degrees from closing on standard 45-70 rims so if you weren't any worse than that, they should work fine. Got some 459-300s that I was using that I'll through in so you can see if another diameter works better than another. My rifle liked them pretty well but I intend to go to 350gr for the 45-75. Good luck.
