Anybody remember it? It was a topic on the old forum. Good read. The book about the EMP set off over part of the US and the housing addition neighborhood that banded together to survive it.

I was reading something the other day that mentioned Iran, using a North Korean missile with one of their (Iran's) new nuclear warheads being detonated above Chicago. The EMP blast would knockout a huge portion of the country's power grid. Instant "welcome to third-world country" status.
Of course, we have no fear though. President Obama is going to talk to any two-bit dictator with a funny hat and mustache without precondition. Then they will hold hands and sing kumbaya together, after which the Europeans will finally respect us again. Sniff, it makes me so proud - or at least it will until that blast!
