POLITICS - Not ALL schools have gone crazy
Went to pick up my daughter from school this afternoon. When I walked in and proceeded down the hall, I noticed a number of large poster board projects done by some of the older kids. Not sure what grades were doing the projects, but the school is K-8th gr. As I walked by them I noticed one was a report with lots of pictures about JFK, another was about Christopher Columbus. Then one caught my eye. It was a detailed report about John Moses Browning, complete with actual size cut-out photos of his most famous firearm designs. There was a 1911, BAR, etc. I was impressed at the childs efforts, to say the least. Then I wondered if the same report would have been allowed in a Public School? Or if the child would have been discouraged from drawing praise or attention to anything related to firearms? Maybe it would be no big deal, I don't know. I did thank the Lord that he enables us to send our daughter here instead of the public schools in this very liberal town.

I've seen stories about little boys being suspended from public schools for doodling pictures of cowboys or army men shooting. It's what we have come to, and it's enough to make you puke.
Now listen boy, I'm tryin' to teach you somethin'. That ain't an optical illusion, it only LOOKS LIKE an optical illusion.

I wish sending my kids to private school was an option. Not really any around here and the ones that are cost money. I am very comfortable going in to the public school we have and throwing a caniption fit though.
