Just went to check in at the old homestead and found that it is gone.
But on the bright side we do have this nice new site to break in and make as comfortable as the old one

Looks like Hobie, Jim, Paul and them already unpacked the boxes and hung the pictures!

Speaking of hanging pictures, can we get a 94 for a background over here? I always felt like that helped remind us what was important.

It's up there, but not sure why it's not up there... We'll get to it soon, I hope.

I tried to put it up, too. Don't quite know why it won't display.
Sincerely,

Speaking for us few folks out in the boonies still struggling with dialup, please don't add unecessary graphics clutter. The reason I like this (at least the old) site was that I could actually use it. Sites like the CAS 76, I've totally given up on. I can go home and eat five times and have to shave twice before that stupid thing downloads.

I SECOND that!

If you place it to your right, as people look at you - you will be to the left. Is that how you want the world to look at you?

And let's decide now, will the roll run "over" or "under"?

I liked the old site, seemed well broken in. Always good to break in something new though.

As you guys know, I often hit the site at night, after work and after the kids and wife have gone to bed. My wife will sometimes see me posting here and ask "are you talking with your lever-nerds again"?
She can be a cruel woman when she wants to be!
But don't take it personally. Whenever my son and I are watching Sci-Fi shows/movies, she calls us "space-nerds"! Now my 5-year old daughter has started calling us that too!!!

I don't get called a nerd or geek but my wife refers to herself as a "computer widow"...

Jeremy -
I'm betting our wives would make great friends. She'd admire any woman who would call a Marine NCO a "nerd"! Just the kind of brass she respects!!!
Meanwhile, we can comfort one another in our shared misery...
