Is it just me or is the butt on the Henry shortened?

Yes the butt on the Henry has been cut down makes a faster shooter for quick shots .... and of coarse I had ordered another butt stock before cutting it to insure a match..

Shinnygun,
Nice looking set of rifles and, I know what you mean about the scopes. It's getting harder for me to use the open sights. I have scopes on several of my lever guns and also use started using peep sights on some.

Some of the purist will barf over the scopes, and I certainly agree a levergun looks better without one riding on top of it, but if the shooter needs the optics it is better to mount a scope and use the gun, than not mount the scope and let it become a safe queen!
