PS I was at a loss for words earlier but I figured out what I wanted to say. That is...

You are a lucky man but I think you're like every other lucky man, you made your own luck. I'm betting you're a good guy who deserves such luck. Happy Anniversary!
Sincerely,

Hobie

OT Anniv. Shooting Results

Post by Mutt »

These are the first shots from my new Cimarron Bisley .45 Colt copy . These are up close and personal . 3 & 7 yards, . Had some trouble with shells hanging up as they were rotated on the shield. As if the bullets were not seated enough . Factory Winchester 225. g. Went too some reloads and things began to smooth out pretty good. Hit where I aimed , much better than any of my Colts . Half the recoil of my Colts with the same ammo. Got Me.? But really liked it. But ( Always a BUT ) I couldn't hold it as tight and on the bull at 15 yards, 10 was ok. Hands got to shaking as usual after awhile. Really throws me off when that happens , dang't ! My wife used my ol' '60s model .22 Ruger single 6 . She's walking death with that gun. At any rate we had a very good anniversary outing. That was her statement on the way home, "couldn't have a better way to spend a special day " . :D

TO ALL THE GOOD FOLK OUT THERE,
AS YOU HAVE READ, I PULLED A FAST ONE OVER ON MUTT BUT HERE IS THE STORY.
THERE MONTHS AGO I RESTORED HIS PC AND NEEDED A PIC FOR HIS DESKTOP AND I FOUND A BEAUTY ON GUN BROKER.COM. WELL, THAT GUN PICTURE ABOUT DROVE MUTT CRAZY TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE I FOUND IT. lONG STORY SHORT, HE DID SO NOW WAS THE :?: HOW $, HOW TO, WHERE FROM, AND WHAT TO SAY TO THE WIFE!!!! I GOT SO TIRED OF HIM SPENDING ALL DAY DROLLING OVER HIS KEYBOARD AND SEARCHING THE WEB I KNEW IF I WANTED TO HAVE MY HUSBAND BACK THEN I BETTER FIGURE OUT A WAY. OUR BUDDY RUNS A GUN SHOP AND WE ORDERED THE GUN, GOT IT IN 1 DAY AND SET THE PLAN  IN MOTION. OUR BUDDY CALLED AND HIS BORE SNAKE WAS IN SO MUTT SAID WE WOULD BE GONE JUST A MIN. MY BUDDY PUT THE GUN IN HIS DISPLAY CASE AND LEFT IT UNLOCKED. WE ARRIVED AND SAT DOWN FOR A FEW AND OUR FRIEND SAID "HEY, I GOT A FEW NEW GUNS IN IF YOU WANT TO LOOK". MUTT GOT UP, WALKED IN THE OTHER ROOM AND WAS SILENT, THEN HE HOLLARD " OPEN UP THAT CASE"! WHEN HE CAME BACK THE GUN WAS IN HIS HAND AND THE DROLLING BEGAN. HE ASKED HOW MUCH AND I SAID "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY" AND AGAIN..SILENCE....HE MUTTERED "WHAT?" AND I REPEATED MYSELF AND HIS JAW DROPPED BUT NOT THE GUN. HE HANDLED "PLAYED" WITH IT TIL 5A.M. TODAY AND LESS THEN 24HRS IT WAS SHOT AND IS GETTING CLEANED FOR THE 2ND TIME.
FUNNY THING IS.....I STILL DON'T HAVE MY HUSBAND BACK.

P.S. HERE IS THE PICTURE OF THE RUGER SINGLE SIX I WAS SHOOTING TODAY. IT WAS A BLAST AND MUTT EVEN LET ME SHOOT THE BISLEY. BYE....MRS. MUTT :D
