Suffering... from ... dehydration...

Post by Ysabel Kid »

"Clean up in front of the levergun case!"

Well, that's what they would have said, had they had a PA system at the NRA headquarters yesterday! I was in Herndon yesterday visiting a new customer. My call ended and I found myself with about 50 minutes of free time. Fairfax is only 10 minutes away, so I zipped on down to the NRA HQ to check out the new display, "Guns West", at the National Firearms Museum. I had to stop of course at the permanent display, about in the middle of the museum, of all the leveractions. Boys, the drool was a flowing! 40 minutes or so is certainly not enough time to take in everything - but I have been there many times in the past, so I focused on the rotating display (now "Guns West") and our favorite rifles. No pictures - sorry; didn't have a camera with me (I did not anticipate I'd have the time).

So, off to the airport I went, now thoroughly dehydrated!

We have to visit the daughter in McLean so might actually get to the National Firearms Museum... Still, I don't much like NOVA and that is why we haven't been there yet.
Sincerely,

Hobie
