Winchester Model 87

Post by 20cows »

I was visiting an old friend this weekend and he showed me a couple of guns he's inherited over the years. His family has been ranching in West Texas as original settlers and these guns have been in the family since they were new.

Though the model 87 looked like it's had a lot of honest use, it appears to be in great mechanical shape. I took a pic with a cell phone camera, but it didn't make a picture you can see.

He also showed me the Remington No. 4 rolling block he learned to shoot with. He wants to teach a grandson to shoot with it, but it has a broken mainspring.

I already have one coming from Numrich.
