OT - "Lord, Come Sit With Me"

Post by AmBraCol »

My sister wrote a poem that I'd like to share with y'all. Feel free to cast your vote as well. :-)

Many of us can insert various names instead of Cynthia - and the poem will fit like a glove.

He is indeed The One to Whom we turn. Cynthia passed away this spring as she was riding with her dad and mom to visit a family where they were having Bible studies. A drunk staggered out into the road and my b-in-law swerved to miss him, flipped the car and our niece and a man from the church passed on, several others were injured and the drunk ended up getting hit by another car and broke his leg.

We look forward to chatting again with Cynthia. She's a real sweetheart and I know we'll have plenty to catch up on when we meet again.

Thanks, guys. I sent her the URL to this thread and she sends her thanks to you all.

I, too, hope she'll write some more and send it along. :-)
