POLITICS - Why I wouldn't vote for Jesus if he from Chicago

Post by Old Ironsights »

Get this: As if there weren't enough restrictions on Breathing in Chicago, Emperor Daley wants to suspend ALL alcohol sales in all bars anywhere near Wrigley Field (Wrigleyville) starting after the 7th inning stretch of any Cubs Game...

"Sorry folks, the Mets just struck out. I can't sell anything but Pepsi until the Game's over..."

Unbelieveable.

No, strike that. TOTALLY believable from the Machine that wants control of DC...

More liberal leftist, MADD mothers stuff!!! If they really wanted to stop drinking and driving, the police would sit outside of bars at closing. But, noooo...the Food and Beverage industry pays too many taxes, and the bars make too much money off of liquor, so they will serve you until you fall off your chair.

There's so much hypocrisy in this world I don't even know where to begin. Like guns laws, we don't need more regulation. You break a law and get caught, you pay the penaly. Owning a gun isn't a crime...killing someone without just cause is. Having a drink after the 7th inning isn't a crime...driving while exceeding the limit, or getting out of line at a game, is. We should manage the problem when the act is committed...not some Minority Report vision of prevention. The screwed up, PC, let-me-impose-my-morals-on-you crowd, which rails against the intolerance of the right, are the most intolerant of the bunch!!

It isn't just Chicago...it's pervasive throughout this country. And it's the same intolerance that the Muslims espouse....we're just a few hundred years behind them in our refinement of it! But it's coming...

What about the patrons on foot? I understand the area around the baseball park has a lot of condos and apartments - part of the appeal. What about patrons who aren't going to drive?

I guess in Chicago one is presumed guilty - at all times...
