OT - Homemade Shoot-n-See Targets

Post by deerwhacker444 »

A while back somebody posted a thread about how to make your own Shoot-n-See targets, but I can't seem to find it. A friend would like to make some large ones for 500 yard shooting with his BMG. Does anybody remember how to make them or have a link to the thread?

IIRC he was using black spray paint on plastic wrap over white paper. At least that's what I remember.

I made a couple of them using saran wrap over white cardboard and then painted it with black spray paint. The saran wrap tightens up and bends the cardboard a little, but will relax and the cardboard will flatten out. Havant gotten a chance to shoot holes in it but did poke a stick thru it and the white cardboard does show up.

Yep, it was Sixgun and yes, he essentially used Saran wrap (I think he used shrinkwrap from work), over a white substrate (cardboard), then spray painted the wrap black. Worked like a charm! :D
