ON A LIGHTER NOTE
Got my new Canon digital camera today, hopefully the software is more compatible; and I will be able to post pictures soon.
Hopefully, this stuff does not come EASY TO ME.

Re: ON A LIGHTER NOTE
mescalero1,
So what model Canon dygittle camera is it?
My D-60 is still devoid of batteries. I'm too darn cheep to spend $30.00 per each for aftermarket ones. So I'm back to film.

Be sure to get set up with a Photobucket account, and you wont have a problem! I might still have a problem, but most folks shouldn't!

Joe -- film will cost you a whole lot more than $30 for a battery! Not to mention the opportunity cost because you only take one picture of a scene and then find out after developing that it didn't turn out. Bite the bullet and get that fine D60 up and running.J Miller wrote:My D-60 is still devoid of batteries. I'm too darn cheep to spend $30.00 per each for aftermarket ones. So I'm back to film.

Film might cost more, except that I already have a decent stash of it from prior to getting the D60.
As for missing chances of pictures, nah, the D60 don't help me that much.
I'll get those batteries eventually. But I'm in no hurry.

Nice camera. My wife has an earlier Canon PowerShot A510. I have to make appointments with her to use it.

Fancy new one , with image stabilization
I still use an SD 200 , great for a camera small enough to fit into a pack of smokes , no excuses for not having a camera in your pocket .

I use a Canon SD1000, great little camera, as 1894 says no excuse for not having it with you.
