I couldn't find a book yesterday so I started cleaning up my loading room and got finished tonight !
My Ponsness Warren press along with a RCBS powder measure and a Redding powder measure !
Dies , powder and primers on the shelf behind my press !
Mostly ammo boxes full of reloaded or need to be reloaded brass ! Also my cleaning vise and cleaning supplies !
All my jacketed bullets , and in front a Forester case trimmer and a pair of Lyman 4500 Lubesizers !
Shelves in the back are pretty much filled with factory ammo ! The containers in front are filled with home cast bullets and the containers on top in the back are filled with brass ! Have more brass and cast bullets in the cabinet below as well !
My movable casting station ! My 20 pound Lee pot is in there although I rarely use it ! Have about 90-100 moulds ! Also have a couple hundred pounds of imgots in the back bottom of this cabinet !
I think I need more room

I started reloading for skeet , trap and birds ! Back then I loaded the 12 gauge , 20 gauge ,28 gauge and 410 bore on four Ponsness Warren 800C machines . Had them all bolted on the same table I have my rifle press on ! Also loaded for the 10 gauge and 16 gauge at that time . I had a Ponsness Warren 375 Single Stage for those two with a pair of heads . It was a big difference going from the 800C's to the 375 ! With the 800C's every time I pulled the handle down a shell kisked out . With the 375 it took 6 seperate acts for each shell !
I had my rifle press back then when I was doing the shotgun stuff , but I didn't really get motivated until about 1990 . I've been loading rifle bullets now for a good 20 years I suppose .
For shotguns , rifles and pistols all my presses have been Ponsness Warren except for a Lee 1000 I had for awhile to load 38's .
I had never cast any bullets until about 7 years ago !
Now I would say about 50% of my rifles are cast bullet shooters !

You have such a nice set-up. That's motivation to get my loading area cleaned up. I've been sorting through years of Mom's accumulated paperwork and the area is a mess.
For those that don't reload, that's a long time accumulation but many wonderful hours of entertainment that you see in those photos.
Sincerely,
Hobie

6 Point, your post has a title, "loading room". It's more like a loading warehouse!! What an investment---in something you love to do. I think it's great, and thank you so much for taking the pictures and sharing your life. I bought a new press, have quite a few dies now, and your pictures have got me back on track to build the bench and get started this winter. Thanks.
To hell with them fellas, buzzards gotta eat same as the worms.

That picture on the wall is of Corey Everson . It's been there about 20 years I think !
Cory Everson was Mrs Bodybuilder Universe or something like that back in the mid eightes . The neat thing to me about this woman was the fact that she had already ahd 3 kids before winning her title or having this picture taken !
That pic was a foldout in Body Builder Mag and the company I worked for at the time printed and bound the magazine !

My "bench" is actually and old oak conference table !
It and the partition mover belonged to a company that used to be in my town called ".Virginia Metal Products".
I got that table when I was about 14 years old ! A friend had bought a bunch of stuff at the disbursement auction and needed help moving some of the books and small things . That table happened to be in amongst all the stuff he bought . So we made a deal he gave me a little cash and the table to help him move !
I almost forgot , the pigeon hole thing I keep jacketed bullets in came during the same deal !

Not Virginia Metalcrafters ! They "were" in Waynesboro !
My junk came from Virginia Metal Products in Orange Virginia . They reopened later under the name "Virginia Metal Industries" later to be bought out by United Coal in Abingdon Virginia .

Nice set up. I couldn't keep track of all that - ever. I just reload and have 30-30 and 45 Colt. The rest has been sold off. 2400 and Bullseye the only powders and working on getting down to two moulds. Boring...I know.
Very cool. I know it is hard to do - I struggle with keeping my reloading bench and area organized - but a clean set-up is a safe set-up. Problem I have is that as soon as I clean it up, everyone else thinks this is an invitation to put stuff on the bench that doesn't belong there!
nice set up i just have one 3x4 bench dedicated to my loading stuff and all my casting equip fits in a 5gal bucket minus alloy. well i guess im goin to have to buy another gun to exapnd my loading bench (hmm 223 357 30-06 45acp 45colt hmm a 30-30 or 45-70 may be in order )
Your friends might get me in the rush, but not before i turn your head into a canoe. Tombstone.
