An Obama campaign worker was going from house to house in a rural area when he went up to a young lad plowing in a field. The young man went over to see what he wanted and he said say son, the gate is locked over there and I can't get to the house. Is your father home? He said no sir, if the gate is locked that means Pa has gone to town. The campaign worker said well what about your mom, is she home? The boy looked over at the house, he said nope, she ain't home either, she must have gone to town with Pa. The worker said now how do you know that? The boy said well if the gate is locked Pa is gone and since it's almost dinner time and there's no smoke coming out of the stovepipe that means momma isn't cooking so she must have went with Pa. The worker looked back at the boy and said you know son there ain't much between you and a fool. The boy said yep, just this hog wire fence.
