32 Special Leverevolution

Post by 6pt-sika »

Went in my local dealers today and he had something for me :!:

I had asked him to order me two boxes of the Hornady Leverevolution ammo in 32 Special back when I first heard mention of it being available !

And today it came in

Now Marlin needs to get off their dead *** and start chambering the 336XLR in the 32 Special :!:

Sweet! good to see someone get their hands on some.I see midway usa had some available this week but were sold out in a day or two.I just placed an order at a local dealer.

Look forward to a range (or hunt) report. Also, let us know if this hyper-velocity stuff works within your iron sights limits.I've read some folks need taller front sights on their older rifles to adjust for the faster
velocity of the LE ammo .Good luck!

An XLR would be cool in 25-35, 7-30 Waters , 375 WIN or 356 WIN as well

And of course Hornady rubber tipped ammo to go with them would be nice also !

I think I'd buy one in .25-35.

I'm just wondering... with that little plastic tip on the bullet, does that thing stay on the bullet all the way to the target?

How much are you guys paying for the Leverevolutions in .32WS? Please specify mail order or local and where. The local gun shop here, which is in the next town, is a highway robber. Thanks

MidwayUSA - $20.99 when they have them.
30-30 LE -$18-$19 around here

You know it's a shame Marlin hasn't made the 336XLR in 32 Special and sent me one !

I was cleaning up my loading room yesterday and I have 2 boxes of new Federal ammo for the 32 Special , two boxes of new Remington ammo for the 32 Special , two boxes of new Winchester ammo for the 32 Special and these two boxes of Hornady LE ammo . Eighty rounds of new factory 32 Special ammo .

If they made the rifle and I had one I have the makings for a pretty decent range test !
