Now that the old style half cock is in there, along with the Wolff 13 lbs spring, man what a difference. Trigger pull dropped from over 6 lbs to down between 2 and 2 1/2 lbs (almost too light, and the hammer goes from half cock to full very easy). I took the rifle to a friends house to measure the trigger pull, and he said "It blows my mind how much that changed". He'd though the trigger was beyond bad with the the rebound in there, and he honestly didn't think changing parts was going to fix it. "Trust me" I kept telling him.
Won't have time to hit the range this weekend. Probably won't make it there until Tuesday. Anxious to make sure everything is working fine, and see if I can shoot any better now. If the trigger winds up feeling too light, I've got a 15 lb Wolff spring I can put in and I figure that will make the pull a pound or so heavier. With the rebounding hammer I was forced to use Federal primers in my reloads. They weren't bad, but I'll be interested to see how Winchester and CCIs work now.
