OT-Blaze Orange hat covers?
I've used a orange cover on my hat during deer season for several years and its beginning to fall apart. it's made along the lines of the plastic rain covers with elastic to hold it on and its worked well. I don't remember where in the heck I got the darn thing now though. Anyone know of a source for these? thanks!

My mother made one out of Polar fleece for me. I will wear a camo felt hat when it is cooler out but it isn't the smartest thing to wear in gun season. So she took some flourescent orange fleece and made hat cover. It is nice and pins onto the braid of the hat. It also adds some insulation to it as well.

I've found that a simple blaze orange "stocking cap" that you can pick up for a couple bucks or so works good - just pull it over the crown of the hat and roll it up to fit. It will snug up around the hat and stay in place very well. I like the longer ones a bit better than the short "beanie" type.
